Bart Banfield brings a complementary perspective grounded in large-scale operational leadership and innovation. As the former Superintendent of EPIC Charter Schools, he led one of the largest virtual school systems in the United States, overseeing more than 2,000 staff and serving tens of thousands of students statewide. During the pandemic, that system scaled to more than 60,000 learners, requiring rapid adaptation and disciplined system design.
He is the author of Virtual Leadership, a framework for leading organizations through digital transformation, and continues to advise school systems, EdTech organizations, and public agencies on AI strategy, system architecture, and the future of learning.
